Apr 22, 2024 · Audacity can now automatically detect the tempo of imported loops, and adjust them to be in tempo. Tempo detection is done via both audio analysis and metadata checking. If you want to prepare your loop for automatic tempo detection without relying on audio analysis, both acidizer tempo tags or simply writing “123 bpm” anywhere into the filename work.

A bitcrusher effect (Bitcrusher - Wikipedia) Low numbers of bits are only really suitable for simple (monophonic) sounds and tend to just sound like a mess with complex sounds. Higher settings work well for making more complex sounds sound “low-fi”.

Feb 20, 2023 · Hello, I’m using Audacity 3.2.4 and Windows 10. I’ve been able to record sound for a while, but I can’t hear it anymore. All speakers are switched on and everything is ok in the settings. I reinstalled Audacity twice. But unfortunately I hear no sound during playback. Can someone help me and give me a tip? Apr 29, 2012 · I use Windows 10 and have Audacity 2.3.3. I have discovered that this is possible using noise reduction. I have many old mono recording made in late 60s of my band. A couple had the vocals recorded on a separate track (on a domestic 4 track tape recorder) but the two voices, lead vocal and high harmony, were recorded via the one microphone.
