Oct 20, 2015 · 5. You should look at Add text to Existing PDF using Python and also Python as PDF Editing and Processing Framework. These will point you in the right direction. If you do what you've proposed in the question, when you export back to .pdf, it will really just be an image file embedded in a .pdf, it won't be text.

But while trying to add text and save it to the new file, It just clears everything and makes it a blank PDF with "Hello World". Mar 8, 2022 · Within the "Edit PDF" tool is a "T" button to add text onto the pdf. The "T" is also a button on the upper menu. The button has stopped working in my version of Acrobat.
