Jan 13, 2017 · Adobe Reader DC also has an .msp and a .ini file that control some things. Basically, setup.exe calls AcroRead.msi, and then the .msp file updates it to the most current version. The .ini file is what calls out which .msi and .msp setup.exe uses.

Dec 13, 2023 · In case you still want to switch to the older view, you have the option to switch back to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner on windows, and "View" Menu on Mac. Use option 'Disable New Acrobat' and Acrobat will switch to its classic view. Regards, Bhawna. 5 Upvotes.
Apr 30, 2018 · 1 Correct answer. The name changed from Adobe Reader to Acrobat Reader and it is still free. There also continues to be the product just called Acrobat, or Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard; this continues to be not free. All of these (free and not free) might add “DC” to their name.
Nov 18, 2015 · Open the "comment" toolbar in Adobe Reader and select the "add stamp" tool. Select the last item titled "Paste Clipboard Image as Stamp Tool. This was done using Adobe Reader 2017. Hi, Inserting an image in a PDF is part of Editing which wont be possible using free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

I cant find older releases anywhere within the Adobe site; Do not send me to this link because it does not work. It has 1 version for Win7 and its the version we are downgrading from.
