Apple Watch SE or Series 9. Discussion. I am loking to buy my 1st Apple Watch but am confused with which one to buy. The black Friday deal on the SE for (209$) or the Series 9 for (359$) at Walmart. Is it worth spending the extra 150$ for the series 9. Also please help if you could find a good deal for Series 8. 27.
Nov 8, 2023 · Upgraded from series 4 Apple Watch to series 9 this fall. I had buyers remorse at first but I really like the s9. The display looks good and it’s snappy and the battery is obviously great compared to my 5 year old series 4. Finger tap is a feature I could care less for though haven’t used it and never intend to
My series 5 did have a few scratches after 4 years of use but that’s about it and my series 9 already has a scratch after a bump with the wall. Overall I believe they hold up well over time. I think the series 9 may be a little more scratch resistant than the 5 I had since I’ve bumped it around a few times with only 1 scratch on it.
But as you are not adding it, then choose the Series 9, it’s faster. watchOS 10 requires more CPU/GPU power. Series 9 stainless be my choice. Ultra offers a bigger brighter screen, more battery, a more scratch-resistant screen, and an action button. It also comes with cellular, which is optional on the S9.

Weather it’s a Rolex diving watch or an Apple Watch, scratches on the face if what you or anyone else will notice. when you're in a swim workout, the screen becomes locked so the water doesn't trigger any unwanted touches. however, you can unlock it and then use it as you would normally. it's possible to come out of the workout app and start using other apps. a standard swim session on the apple watch goes like this: open workout app.
I went from a Series 6 to the 9 and I consider it worth it 100%. It’s much nicer. I just upgraded from a Series 5 and it's been great. the UI is nice and snappy fast (my five hard started to become noticeably sluggish), the screen is bigger and brighter, the battery life is better (mine had deteriorated).
Sep 13, 2023 · The coolest thing about the Series 9 is that it finally has a new SiP and it's on 5nm. Every Apple Watch processor has been at 7nm since the S4 from 2018. But now the 5nm manufacturing process seems to be mature enough for use in low-power devices like the Apple Watch. Hopefully the S9 SiP will improve energy efficiency to improve battery life.
Oct 12, 2023 · I have an Apple Watch series 5 in stainless steel that is giving up the ghost (cracked face, battery about dead). Where I live (France) the stainless steel series 9 is about double the price of the aluminium. I use the watch essentially for fitness (keep track of runs, stationary biking, etc.).
