Something like the GT TSI was a much loved car and relatively a low volume car. It is also a model that people don't easily let go off and hence is generally in good demand in the used car market. Jul 15, 2020 · In 2019, two years after the 6th-generation Polo was unveiled to the rest of the world, the Indian Polo received its 2nd significant facelift and just like in 2014, Volkswagen dipped into the GTI parts bin and slapped on the 5th-gen 6C Polo GTI bumpers, tail-lights and side skirts. 2019 also saw the discontinuation of the 1.2L, naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol motor in favour of a downsized 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The body movements have minimized drastically. Car is eager to take corner and feels very tight. For taking corners at speeds higher than 80 kmph, spring needs to be changed to a stiffer one. Forget remap, forget all cosmetic mods or exhaust or even better tyres, GT deserves to be driven with such suspension setup.
Jan 22, 2024 · One performance feature which irks me repeatedly is the failure of sensors. These cause the warning lights on the dash to light up (see pic). The ABS & the ESR warning light came on recently. This means a visit to VW and waste of half a day and expense of 5 or 7 K . Small amount no doubt but the frequency with which this happens is irritating.

(Forgot to take a pic) - Upgraded my brake pads to EBC Ultimax2. Thought of getting Brembo rotors as well, but my current rotors seem to be in pretty good shape.
Sep 26, 2024 · Volkswagen Polo 1.2L GT TSI : Official Review. I don't need to worry about whether that car I checked out has hidden accidental damage because it got sold. Looks like I may not get a chance to get these cars inspected by VW service because they get sold before any rational pre purchase checks can be done !! I think you dodged a bullet there!
