Parvathaneni Brahmayya Siddhartha College of Arts & Science is the first offspring of "Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education". In the year 1975, the college was started with 200 students and 15 faculty members with B.A. and B.Com. programmes.
The vision of P.B Siddhartha College of Arts and Science is to impart holistic, realistic, and futuristic education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet.
He assumed as Principal of the College from August, 2016. B.Sc., (M.P.C), B.Sc., (M.P.Cs) are undergraduate courses with Physics as one of the subject and got autonomous status in the year 1988. The post graduate course M.Sc. Physics was introduced in the academic year 2003-2004 and got autonomous status in the year 2017.

The two year (four semesters) Post Graduate programme M.Sc. Mathematics introduced in the academic year 1990-91, aimed to train the students in all the basic fields of Mathematics and Computer Science.
