Feb 13, 2019 · The point is the chrome settings for search seem to have nothing to do with the actual reality of Vivaldi search settings. Then access search and edit default search engine. For this pick or input the engine you want to use as default, then tick "Set as Default engine" and don't forget to hit "Save" on bottom.
