Oct 19, 2010 · Acrobat has the 'touchup' tool, operative word bei ng 'touchup'. This is a very limited editing tool. If you need to edit a PDF then you either need to edit the original document that the PDF was made from (going forward make sure your company saves the original documents from which PDFs are made), get an Adobe Suite with the Adobe Design or Adobe Illustrator and use these programs as an editor, or try a copy of OpenOffice.com and the PDF editing plug-n.
Jan 3, 2017 · There is something wrong with this situation; it may be that a signature is not a no-edit feature, but when you sign a document, a window pops that shows a checkbox for Lock Document After Signing. So, what you expect is to have a locked document (non-editable), when that box is checked.
Dec 19, 2017 · Also PDF text does not flow like it does in a Word document. Maybe the "left over issues" are because you do not understand the PDF format. If you need to edit PDF documents, it is far easier to go back to the document in the authoring/creating application and edit it there than to even use the PDF editing tools.
Nov 30, 2017 · Do not use "Edit a PDF" to fill forms. When you select "Edit PDF" tools in Acrobat Pro it puts acrobat into content editing mode. This is for modifying the text and graphics on the page, not the form fields. Put Acrobat back into normal mode, i.e. where the hand is the main cursor.

Aug 12, 2020 · A new document preference is added to let you use the filename as the document title. By default, the preference is disabled. To enable the preference, go to Acrobat preferences, and click Documents in the left pane. Under Open Settings, select Always Use Filename As Document Title.
