Mar 3, 2023 · I'm beta testing GoodNotes Beta for Windows on a touchscreen Surface. GoodNotes is a highly popular iPad app for note-taking, and has excellent handwriting support. The Windows version however looks like PWA app instead of native and the interface is not as fluid and fast as the iPad.
Aug 13, 2023 · Wow it actually works between Goodnotes for Windows (subscription) and that for Ipad (one-time purchase). I have been paranoided and questioning the company without any reply. I appreciate it. EDIT : I realized that if I make a notebook in Goodnotes for Windows first, it does not work same way in Goodnotes for Ipad.
GoodNotes finally released an update, where you can locally store your files, just like on the iPad. I can finally take my laptop everywhere I want, without needing an internet connection. The only issue that I experience is the continously spamming that it can't sync my files, cause I don't have an internet connection.

If you're after a blend of handwriting, photos, and typed notes: Notability offers a close experience to GoodNotes, albeit at a cost.
Jan 31, 2023 · I discovered GoodNotes two months ago while looking for a good PDF annotation tool. It is just amazing and full of great features! Handwriting notes, PDF imports, pay once and use forever, search in handwritten notes, « stickers », folders, iCloud backup, an app for all your devices, … it is just wonderful, and looks like a real nice note taking app.
Oct 1, 2022 · As far as I know there aren't any student discounts for the app, but it's a one-time payment of $8.99 (goodnotes is not a subscription based model like notability is!) for the full version of the app. On this page there is also a link to a free trial version with 3 notebooks if you haven't already tried that out!
Aug 29, 2023 · Hyperlinks in Goodnotes for Windows I just downloaded the new Goodnotes for Windows on my surface pro and purchased a digital planner specifically for Goodnotes. The hyperlinks work when I am on the PDF in the browser (I've tried both Chrome and Edge) but when I import it to GN, the links don't work at all.

Jul 29, 2023 · I’m reading a lot of mixed reviews on goodnotes for windows and things like lagging, storage issues, limited functions and can’t decide if it is easiest/ best option for me. I’m debating between this and one note but I like the idea of goodnotes better, I just want to be sure once I start using it, I’ll stick with it.
Aug 9, 2023 · So the Windows Version is Finally here ! I Have been in the Beta Programm and had big Hopes for the New Goodnotes Version, but im just frusrated now... The Microsoft Store Version that you have to Pay 8$ a Year for is just a WebApp, No Offline Function, Nothing of the Big "We Will Bring the Same Experience from the IPAD to the Windows Machine!"
