Mar 11, 2024 · I did that and was able to login to the members portal .However I couldnt view the passbook at the site https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/ as it said it needs 6 hours for the changes to reflect. So waited and today I am able to login in to the passbook site. However the login to the members portal is not working now saying invalid password.

Sometimes employer transfer the amount (8.33 percent) as EPS contribution in ECR when they shouldn't. ECR (Electronic Challan Cum Return) is the total amount/record of money that employer sends to EPFO along with details like how much money to be given to how many people and in which account (EPS/EPF/EDLI) Reply reply.

Jun 15, 2018 · Please check your EPF passbook if you got interest for FY 2017-18 credited in your account. It gets credited in April and is backdated to March 31. If not, please raise a grievance with the EPFO.
May 21, 2022 · 12% Of (1) is deposited in this EPF Account, i.e., employee (your) share. As per rules, 12% of (1) also needs to be contributed by the employer. Its not deducted from your salary. Out of this 12%, 3.67% goes to EPF and 8.33% goes to EPS (Pension) Employer does not withraw your EPF money. When you withdraw, it gets adjusted from each person's share.
