Mar 27, 2022 · Tried hacking in to msetup4.ini and changing the [checkAdmin] switch, but there was no admin switch. What finally worked is to ignore the setup Driver setup package (Windows) which is the app with the problem. On the same driver page was the TR8600 series MP Driver Ver. 1.03 (Windows). May 16, 2021 · Subject line says "G3010" (Canon India) Model listed in the message body is "3411" (Canon Europe / South Africa) ? Windows 10 Drivers G3010 . Windows 10 Drivers G3411 . Upon review, it appears that the installer is one in the same "win-g3010-1_0-n_mcd.exe" (18.4mb) So it probably doesn't matter which you use.

With the upcoming release of Windows computers that are powered by new ARM chips/processors, the compatibility of drivers for imageCLASS and other Canon products comes to mind. Some of these new computers look interesting, but if the Canon drivers won't work with these newer computers, then that is problematic.
Sep 15, 2022 · some conflict with canon... scanner is working but the printer driver is now having a problem .. tried to download the latest one. Still, the printer driver is not ok... some errors for NT 4.0 block, etc coming... any solution for this .. or should I reinstall my operating system. Thanks, Umer.
Aug 24, 2024 · 10-16-2024 02:41 PM. Removed the printer and installed it again. Now it works. Just with the Windows driver - not the one from Canon with more settings - but at least it works! Solved: I recently purchased a Windows 11 ARM laptop and I'm not able to download the correct driver that supports the GX6020 printer.

Dec 9, 2021 · This all likely has to do with the ARM 64-bit processor in the Surface Pro X. Normally you can install a 32-bit driver or app on the ARM 64-bit processor in Windows 10 Pro, but the Canon printer drivers are a combined 32-bit and 64-bit driver version which Windows 10 Pro on the ARM64-bit processor won't recognize.
