Dec 3, 2023 · I have Live 11 Suite and see the upgrade price for 12 suite is more than the upgrade price for 12 Standard, which is also different to 12 intro. The new Live 12 features are the same across the board for intro, standard and suite, with no unique new feature specific to standard or suite.
Jul 4, 2023 · What happens is the asd files are needed to display the waveforms in Live so in 11.3.2 it would autorun the autowarp on every existing audio file within a live-set when loading the set. In 11.3.3 there was added a "do/don't save ASD" but all that accomplished was that the ASD & autowarp process runs on every project load. https://help.ableton ...
Jun 23, 2021 · It would make sense and be fine if Ableton 11 was stable but it's a bit frustrating if the current version is half baked and poorly optimized. Bottomline, I'm open to external feedback from people who actually know the difference between Ableton 9 and 11 first-hand and have maybe been in this situation before. Thanks in advance and have a good day!
Dec 6, 2023 · It’s a new install that sits quite happily alongside Live 11. 12 inherits all of 11’s libraries and file-paths automatically. You might have to manually set one or two minor settings in Live 12’s preferences to match your 11 settings, but never anything major like sound libraries etc.
Sep 1, 2024 · There is not a single thing in "Sounds, Drums, Instruments, etc." in the browser but the files are in "C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 11 Lite\Resources\Core Library". Also I've reset Live's Database, reset Live and reset Live's library and I authorized my license a couple of times in case that was the issue but nothing changed.
