I usually use a different account to the one I'm trying to use right now, and pushing works fine on there. The terminal is the one integrated into Visual Studio Code, and it is Git Bash. What I want to do is sign into this different account and then push from that account. I remember at one point there was a popup with a login box on it.

I did 2 resets that went through and right after Github claimed they were the wrong credentials. I tried both with email and account name. Turned out I had changed my account name and forgot it. –

If your repo is of HTTPS repo, git config -e give this command in the git bash. Update the username and password by opening in insert mode, change the password or username give :x and Cntrl+z keys it will save and exit.
