Jul 14, 2020 · When I convert a PDF into word, I'm often left with some text in boxes. This makes it very difficult to format the document. I've tried "Control +A" and "Control + Q" but it doesn't work. I've also tried "Control A" and paste as "Unformatted Text" but it's even worse, the text that was inside text boxes simply "disappear".

Aug 24, 2020 · Word in Office 365 can open a pdf file, so simply use File>Open and change the type of file to AllFiles (*.*) or PDF Files (*.pdf) so that the pdf file will appear in the files that are available to be opened. Note that the Word document that results may be very difficult to edit.

Dec 22, 2021 · For some reason, when I convert my word document (office 365) to PDF, the hyperlinks are not "active" on the PDF file. Is there a way to convert .docx to pdf and still have the URL/Hyperlinks active (I know this functionality existed in the past) Thanks. Problem is now solved. the links were working all this time.
Jan 25, 2018 · When saving as a PDF, the formatting is effectively destroyed - paragraphs convert to headings, sections of text rearranged all over the place, and other similar issues. Note that this also inexplicably happens in the original document as well as the saved PDF requiring a ctrl-Z to restore formatting. I have tried to fix this is numerous ways ...
