History. Origins. WAGF member denominations have varied histories. Most have roots in the interracial Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California or other Pentecostal revivals around the world in the early twentieth century. The largest member denomination, Assembleia de Deus in Brazil, dates its beginning to 1911.
We are a leading Pentecostal Seminary specializing in practical application of ministry. We are the national seminary of the Assemblies of God (AG) and strategically located near the AG National Leadership and Resource Center in Springfield, Missouri.
Apr 16, 2024 · The campus closed in May 2013 when the school consolidated with Evangel University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. All three institutions were located in Springfield and owned and operated by the Assemblies of God.
