Espoo (/ ˈɛspoʊ /, [ 8 ]Finnish: [ˈespoː]; Swedish: Esbo) [ c ] is a city in Finland. It is located to the west of the capital, Helsinki, in southern Uusimaa. The population is approximately 319,000.
