Based on the Bengali play Punoray Ruby Ray by Falguni Chatterjee's Lokokrishti, the film has Rukmini Maitra in a double role – one, Jeet’s love interest, and the other, a robot.
'Jeet' is pretty much a retarded remake of 'Muqaddar ka Sikander' (which itself was a mind-numbingly boring movie). This one just has much more dishum dishum, loudness and epileptic seizures than its source.

Jeet (transl. Victory) is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film written and directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film stars Sunny Deol , Salman Khan , Karisma Kapoor , Amrish Puri and Tabu .

Jeet filmography. Jeet is an Indian Bengali actor, producer and television presenter. Jeet started his modeling career in 1993. His first acting assignment was Bishabriksha (1994–95), a Bengali TV series directed by Bishnu Palchaudhuri. He made his big screen debut with Chandu (2001), a Telugu film. [1]
