Thursday is an American post-hardcore band formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1997. The band consists of Geoff Rickly (lead vocals), Tom Keeley (lead guitar, backing vocals), Steve Pedulla (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Tim Payne (bass), and Tucker Rule (drums).
Named after New York Knicks player Trent Tucker, the Trent Tucker Rule is a basketball rule that disallows any regular shot to be taken on the court if the ball is put into play with under 0.3 seconds left in game or shot clock.
Tucker Rule is a touring and session drummer who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. At 18 his mother purchased him a drum kit and the rest is history. He started his musical career in the NJ post-hardcore band Thursday and has been working hard ever since.
