Brief Synopsis. Based on a German legend, the tale of Siegfried, the son of a swordsmith who becomes a fearless dragon slayer.
The Sword of Xanten is swords and sorcery viewed through a soap lens. Weaving a complicated plot, with inevitable unhappy ending, it's easy to see why Wagner would want to adopt this story.
The Sword of Xanten. Destined to marry a queen (Kristanna Loken), a blacksmith (Benno Fürmann) takes a magic potion that makes him fall for the wrong woman.
