When his brother, Kaalia, returns after being discharged from jail, he asks him to leave. Then he turns in some smugglers, who are arrested and imprisoned.

Truck-driver Dharam Singh red-handedly catches his brother, Kaalia committing a crime and turn him over to the police. In retaliation Kaalia's colleague Mangal Singh confronts Dharam killing him and his wife Banto in the process; Dharam leave behind two sons Veer and Raja to avenge this killing.
