WISER has been updated to use the same login as Office365/Webmail and Blackboard. Please sign in with your full campus email address (including '@umb.edu') and password. You will need Microsoft Authenticator configured for multi-factor authentication.
WISER allows UMass Boston students to search and register for classes, add/drop, view billing information, access grades, and more. All help documentation and videos are now located in our WISER Knowledge Base for Students .
Log in to WISER. Click on the Faculty / Advisor Center tile. Click on the Advisor Center tab. Locate the student in your list of advisees and click on the Student Center link, or use the View Data for Other Students button to search for the student by ID or name.

You can view course pre-requisites & co-requisites in WISER using the class search tool and clicking on the class hyperlink to open more details. Video: How to view pre/co-req’s in WISER. If you do not meet the required requisites as listed, you can reach out to the instructor to try and obtain permission to enroll.
WISER Help for Faculty. Announcements. Live Chat Support can be found on the IT Self Service Portal. WISER gives you access to your class rosters and grade rosters, as long as you are listed in the Schedule of Classes as the instructor of the class.
If you are a current, matriculated UMass Boston student or have taken UMass Boston courses before, please use the WISER online self-service registration system. Current students should check with their academic advisor to be sure courses align with their plan of study.
WISER Help for Staff WISER administrative access is provided to staff on request. Access must be approved by the office responsible for the student-related information.
