Apr 10, 2024 · Career Point University (CPU) in Kota, established in 2012 under the aegis of the Career Point Group, a renowned education company in Kota, has garnered affiliations with prestigious organisations, including UGC, AICTE, NAAC (B++), AIU, and ACU.
Established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in 2012, the Career Point University, Hamirpur provides courses in the field of Engineering and technology, Computer Application and IT, Basic and Applied Sciences, Business & Managements, Vocational and Legal Studies. CPU is UGC approved and has 16 departments and 10 research areas.
The University was inaugurated by the then Chief-Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Prof. P.K. Dhumal in August 2012 and became functional in the same year. With a humble beginning of 96 students, the University today has around 1939 students including 171 Ph.D. students on its roll.
