Abdul Samad (born 28 October 2001) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Jammu & Kashmir in domestic cricket and for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler.
A big-hitting right-handed batsman from Jammu Kashmir, Abdul Samad was shortlisted in the Sunrisers Hyderabad trials ahead of the 2020 IPL Auction. He was signed by Sunrisers for 20 lakh which made him only the fourth cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir after Parvez Rasool, Manzoor Dar & Rasikh Salam to earn an IPL contract.
