Description. Anaconda Navigator is a desktop graphical user interface included in Anaconda that allows you to launch applications and easily manage conda packages, environments and channels without the need to use command line commands.
Choose whether to add Anaconda to your PATH environment variable or register Anaconda as your default Python. We don’t recommend adding Anaconda to your PATH environment variable, since this can interfere with other software. Unless you plan on installing and running multiple versions of Anaconda or multiple versions of Python, accept the default and leave this box checked.
Installing Navigator#. Navigator is automatically installed when you install Anaconda Distribution version 4.0.0+.. If you have Miniconda or a version of Anaconda Distribution older than 4.0.0 installed, you will need to manually install Navigator. To do this: Open a terminal application (Anaconda Prompt on Windows).
