Stereoscopic Panoramic Image Format
To get properly look 360° stereo panorama, you have to use single Equirectangular Stacked (over/under) Stereo Image combined from two mono panoramas in any of supported image file format. Usual equirectangular mono panorama image is 2:1 aspect ratio image. For example, 4096px x 2048px. The Stereo panorama is a two such an images stitched together horizontally, so stereo images should be 1:1 aspect ratio, that is, from our example, 4096px x 4096px. An so on.

Stacked stereo or stereoscopic panorama image is a single image but combined from two mono (ordinary) panoramas. One above the other(horizontal split). Human has binocular vision. This is because eyes are at a distance from each other, they look at the same object at a slightly different angles.
