Dec 24, 2023 · My brother recently passed away and worked for HSBC over 30yrs paying into a pension. When he passed away,his WILL and pension stated a "wish" that his pension would be shared by 4 beneficiaries. HSBC didn't for whatever reason contact the executor of his WILL but go directly to the beneficiaries and state they "Will receive a lump sum".

When I answer I end up speaking to an Indian call centre. The male tells me that he is calling me from HSBC and that he has to inform me of something important associated with my account.
Apr 27, 2021 · HSBC really need to pull their finger out, closing branches yet their site and app is behind the times. They have only just added the ability to pay a credit card easily (non-DD). Before you had to set up a new payee manually. I did notice some pages on the HSBC have a new design so I assume a big update is coming.
Feb 27, 2018 · You'd be better or finding the funds you want to invest in (HSBC Global Strategy would actually be a good contender) and then doing this on the most cost effective platform. As a comparison, the HSBC World Selection ISA - investing in their Balanced fund would cost 1.06%, but investing in HSBC Global Strategy Balanced via Cavendish Online would cost 0.43%.

Aug 8, 2017 · HSBC are causing me to waste time that I could be billing to clients instead. I have seen a lot of rumblings about Safeguard inline and it seems that I am not alone in having my account closed. It is also clear to me that HSBC have dropped the ball somewhere along the lines and that Safeguard is either ill conceived or badly implemented (possibly both) - although they will never admit to that.
Sep 10, 2023 · Ditch the account and go to santander, easy access saver 5.2%. Dont need a bank account with them, just set it up and download the app. Be quick as could be pulled at any moment. Call HSBC and ask what the hell is going on. 10k at 4% = £33.33 a month ish. Call HSBC and ask what the hell is going on.

From previous threads, it seems like you only need a CV with no cover letter. but that could have changed. and with the phone interview, they usually ask 2 questions some examples are; knowledge of HSBC values A time you showed resilience A time you work collaboratively A time when you made a difficult decision A time you helped somebody I hope this helps x
