Apr 13, 2022 · So a while back Mojang (Microsoft) mandated the use of Microsoft accounts to further continue to play Minecraft Java Edition, which also meant the discontinuation of the Legacy Minecraft Launcher. I personally dont like the current Minecraft Launcher, because its very slow compared to the old launcher and would like to have the old one from the picture above back.
