Let’s be honest — Imgur has become Reddit, but without the text posts. They host video, images, and gifs (or rather, the modern equivalent). The primary difference is partially in the community and partially in the structure, and it is the structure that begets the community. The structure of Imgur is much more based around the home page.
It does seem that imgur stores cookies of the images' hash values or something if the user attempted to upload them while their ad blocker was on. OK I just partly figured it out. If I disable uBlock Origin (ad blocker), the "Grab Link" button stops being grayed out for some images I am uploading but not others and the "To Community" button is still grayed out no matter what.

Mar 15, 2024 · It is unfortunate that you have this problem, All I can say is delete the app, the cache, reinstall (not just remove but actually physically delete the program's data in the filesystem as much as possible, be sure to only touch stuff you are sure of, if your phone is rooted be extra careful). Apr 19, 2023 · Imgur sucks for anything other than linking to NSFW images. Searching sucks and it's community is an echo chamber of people banned from Reddit. Tumblr only got rid of NSFW content. Imgur will get rid of SFW content uploaded by anonymous users, which is probably the vast majority of Imgur's content since forever.
