Nov 6, 2014 · 68 posts in this thread. Hi all, hoping you can help me with my problem. I just purchased Hollywood Orchestra Diamond edition, and I'm trying to get it to work with Finale 2012 or 2014. I've had EastWest products (Symphonic Orchestra) work fairly well in the past, but it included keyswitches that I could program into Human Playback.
Can one suggest a workaround so that all occurrences of a missing text font can be globally changed without affecting the music font? There are about 5 or 6 large texts on orchestration, including "Anatomy of an Orchestra." Charles Rosen has written two very fine books on classical music, "Sonata Form" and "The Classical Style" that go into depth on classical music, and give someone a good idea of what classic sonata form is.
Before installing Finale 12, I have long since and and been using Garritan Personal Orchestra. So while installing Finale 12, I did not need to install "all" the Garritan options , only the ones that Finale needed. This caused a problem, the files were not installed, so I did that manually..problems solved.
I am writing a piece for a full symphony orchestra, and I've run into a problem regarding the mixer. It only shows the first 16 staves on the mixer, but I have 24 staves in my composition. The only reason it's an issue is that for some reason, my three percussion staves are all on the same channel and I need to switch them over.
I'll be more specific: I'm using Finale 2005b, I would like to have the first orchesrta playing in 4/4 at lets say 92 and the second orchestra beginning in the same conditions and then going to 3/8 with every eigth equal to an eigth quintuplet of orchestra I while orchestra I keep 4/4 at 92 bpm.
