  1. Movie Review. The Taking of Deborah Logan. Jill Larson and Anne Ramsey are amazing in this; playing an elderly Southern Belle and her openly lesbian daughter, respectively. They make a B+ movie closer to A-. The movie starts as a study on the progression of Alzheimer's disease and specifically its impact on the caregivers of an Alzheimer's patient.

  2. Bit late to the thread but I really liked it, it’s one of my favorite found footage horror films. The dementia and possession aspect was the best part and gave it a sense of grounded and semi-realistic horror. Acting was great too, just a well rounded and eerie possession movie. Reply reply. 3. Feb 11, 2023 · ADMIN MOD. The Taking of Deborah Logan has one of THE greatest moments in horror history. About two thirds of the way through the film, one of the main characters just ups and fucking leaves in his van and never ever returns again in the film, he just nopes the hell out of the weird situation. Bravo good sir, bravo.

  4. Oct 28, 2014 · Just watched The Taking of Deborah Logan last night and was very surprised at how good it was. Very creepy scenes and set-ups. Even though the genre is overplayed I think they had a good idea with mixing Alzheimer's with possession and the viewer having to figure out which was coming through in Deborah's actions. Pros: Jill Larson as Deborah Logan

  5. The Taking of Deborah Logan is probably my favorite movie from the Found Footage genre. In my opinion it does everything right to keep the flow of the movie fun, interesting and spooky. You have a documentary style to introduce the key players When things eventually do begin to get supernatural, doubting them is actually believable

  7. Feb 12, 2022 · WayyTooFarAbove. •. In a world where the majority of found footage films rely on invisible forces moving people and objects, the Taking of Deborah Logan peaked with an awesome, shocking and badass image. Very well executed.

  8. Feb 20, 2017 · Firing into an occupied dwelling-- felony!! Do not care how drunk they are, or if Queen Bee says she'll pay for windows!! I could be wrong, but Mia is not an MD, psychiatrist, neurologist, lawyer, exorcist, or even a decent human being!!! 4: Don't pass off a horrific story as the gospel! Actual humans would've called 911 on day 2 and gotten the ...

  9. Amazon has relentlessly plugged "The Taking of Deborah Logan" for a while now. It's a "found footage" type film, which I don't particularly love, but there have been one or two FF films I have liked, so I'm not entirely averse to the genre. But according to Rotten Tomatoes, this film gets a 90% fresh rating.

  10. Jan 21, 2016 · Yes it's worth checking out. It's a good movie until the last 20 mins or so which for me felt a little nailed on as a quick way to wrap it up. But there's not much decent horror around and this is a mostly good movie. Reply reply. Chilly73. •. I thought it was a great movie. It's definitely worth a watch.
