Aug 4, 2021 · John is normally good but he's lost here. (Oh, and John Berendt, who wrote the book, was twice Cusack's age and gay, to boot.) I have wished for many years that a streaming channel would get the rights and remake it, but sadly, Chablis is no longer with us, and I'm not sure how it would work without her.

The Thin Red Line, the movie was shot to center around Adrien Brodys character, he did interviews about his starring role and photoshoots and all the press that comes with being the star. He was told during the premiere that Terrence Malick had changed the entire movie during editing to focus on Jim Caviezels character.
