Mar 27, 2023 · Cars 2 convinced me there is at least a devil. So the intro of Cars 2 is a Cars-themed spy thriller on an oil rig. Legit thought it was a pre-movie short Pixar used to be famous for. Until it shows a murdered crumpled agent Car, a chase scene with blow torch weapons trying to kill the agent, and thug cars plunging to their deaths.

Cars 2 (IMO) should have been a direct to dvd/home video release. Cars 1 spent so much time world building in Radiator Springs and pushing the ideas of loyalty and friendship with all of the characters that resides there that Cars 2 just seemed to have a “Caper” feel to it and felt like it was thrown together at the last minute.
Jun 25, 2023 · Cars 2 featured multiple huge, unique, brightly lit cities with race tracks that weaved in unique patterns, so the settings were nicer to look at. Cars 1's plot was about an arrogant city boy being humbled by small town folk, a story we've seen plenty of times before.
Cars 2 is the best of the trilogy because the characters being cars instead of just people driving cars makes more of an impact compared to the first two. The only point in the first movie that I can think of where them being cars affected anything was when Lightning McQueen stuck out his car tongue to tie the first race.

Apr 15, 2022 · Project cars 2 and 3 are not the same type of game; with 3 they went much more towards the arcade level of game. I have always been a defender of Project cars 2 and still maintain that it is a good entry to sim racing. However nowadays I would have to say get AMS2 over PC2. Built on the same engine but improves on pretty much every aspect of PC2.
