Catherine Lucy Hawking (born 2 November 1970) is an English journalist, novelist, educator, and philanthropist. She is the daughter of the theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking and writer Jane Wilde Hawking. She lives in London, and is a children's novelist and science educator.
Author Lucy Hawking makes science accessible and entertaining through her ‘George’ book series of six adventure novels based on real science for young readers. Written in collaboration with world-leading scientists, the George series is published in over 40 languages, soon to include Zulu and Xhosa.
