Narayanappa (Kannada: ನಾರಾಯಣಪ್ಪ), known by his pen name Kumara Vyasa (Kannada: ಕುಮಾರವ್ಯಾಸ), was an influential and classical Vaishnava poet of early 15th century in the Kannada language.

Sep 19, 2011 · This is wonderful work, for one is now able to read Kumaravyasa anytime, anywhere. However, Volume One of Adiparva is unavailable here. The file named Adiparva here is, in fact, Volume Two of Adiparva. Moreover, the volume that has the Shalya and the Gadha parvas is also not available here.
Kumara Vyasa, also known as Naranappa, was a 15th century poet who wrote Karnata Bharata Kathamanjari, a Kannada version of the first ten parvas of the Mahabharata. He was a devotee of Krishna and composed his epic in the court of Devaraya II, using the Bhamini Shatpadi meter and rich vocabulary.
