Wrexham University (Welsh: Prifysgol Wrecsam; Welsh pronunciation: [priːvˈəsɡɔl ˈrɛksam]) is a public university in the north-east of Wales, with campuses in Wrexham, Northop and St Asaph. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as professional courses.
The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science course has been designed to provide a rich and dynamic student experience, achieved through partnership between Wrexham Glyndwr University and the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales Clinical Research Centre (NWCRC).
In 2016 the university became Wrexham Glyndwr University. The university is named in honour of Owain Glyndwr, an important figure in Welsh history. Born in the 14th century, Owain was known for advocating the creation of a university in both North and South Wales.

The university is a key part of the community in Wrexham, owning the Glynd?r University Racecourse Stadium where Wrexham FC and the North Wales Crusaders rugby league team play home games and hosting sports clubs at our Sports Centre.
