About the Institute: The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), began in June 28, 2015 at Gauria Karma, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand with Deemed University status, to cater the needs of the resource rich Eastern part of the Country so as to harness the potential of agriculture, animal sciences, fisheries, horticulture and forestry.
The Indian Agricultural Research Institute has a long record of excellence in higher education and training in Agricultural Sciences. Right from its inception in 1905, this institute has been developing trained manpower for the country.
