The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the team is a member of the NCAA Division I American Athletic Conference (The American). The team plays their home games at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Nov 12, 2023 · The 49ers beat No. 2-ranked SMU 2-1 in the American Athletic Conference tournament final to earn an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament. Brandon Morales scored the game-winner and Ian Pilcher was named most outstanding defensive player of the tournament.

Nov 13, 2023 · The 49ers upset the No. 2 ranked Mustangs 2-1 in the conference championship game in Dallas. It's their third conference title in program history and their first in the AAC.
