Karl Pearson FRS FRSE [1] ( / ˈpɪərsən /; born Carl Pearson; 27 March 1857 – 27 April 1936 [2]) was an English eugenicist, mathematician, and biostatistician. [3] [4] He has been credited with establishing the discipline of mathematical statistics.
