Eugene T. Booth[1] Leon Max Lederman(July 15, 1922 – October 3, 2018) was an American experimental physicist who received the Nobel Prize in Physicsin 1988, along with Melvin Schwartzand Jack Steinberger, for research on neutrinos.
He is a founding member of the High Energy Physics Advisory Panel (to AEC, DOE) and the International Committee on Future Accelerators. He has received the National Medal of Science (1965) and the Wolf Prize for Physics (1982) among many other awards.
