A record number of Elstree pupils took part in the Mercia Regional Athletics in Stourport-on-Severn. 26 Elstree boys and girls took part in a huge array of track and field events and a number achieved new PBs across 100m, high jump, javelin and triple jump. Really well done to Josh, Arabella and Mofe who all qualified for the Nationals.

Elstree is a co-educational Berkshire school. The move to becoming fully co-educational this September has been a resounding success, with a total of 31 girls in the whole school, including 14 in the Prep. History. Elstree School was founded in 1848. With the outbreak of war in 1939, staff and 70 boys moved to Woolhampton House in Berkshire. This fine Georgian house, standing in a 150-acre estate of green parkland and lawns, proved so ideal that Woolhampton House became Elstree’s permanent home at the end of the war, where the School remains today.
