Worth School is a private co-educational Roman Catholic boarding and day school for pupils from 11 to 18 years of age near Worth, West Sussex, England. Until 2008, Worth was exclusively a boys' school. The school is located within Worth Abbey, a Benedictine monastery, in 500 acres (2.0 km 2) of Sussex countryside.

History. The origins of Worth lie in the foundation in 1606 of the English Benedictine community of St Gregory’s at Douai, France, which in the 1930s went on to establish a second community and school at Worth, in West Sussex. Today, Worth School is thriving with some 675 pupils, encompassing boarding and day pupils, girls and boys.
Academic. Junior (Ages 11 - 13) Worth Junior is Year 7 (age 11+) and Year 8 (age 12+). The earliest point of entry to Worth is at Year 7 for boys and girls. This is the natural point of entry for those moving on from their maintained sector primary schools but an increasing number are now joining from independent Prep schools.
