Shanmugha Rajeswara Sethupathi was an Indian politician and a member of the royal family - who ruled the estate of Ramnad. Associated with Justice Party first he later joined Indian National Congress.
Shanmugha Rajeswara Sethupathi was an active supporter of the Justice Party and promoted the Self-Respect Movement. After the independence of India in 1947, the Government of India marged estates, jagiirs, kingdom with the Union of India.
