William Henry Draper III (born January 1, 1928) is an American venture capitalist. Early life. Draper was born on January 1, 1928, in White Plains, New York, the son of Katherine Louise ( née Baum) and banker, general, and diplomat William Henry Draper Jr. who founded Draper, Gaither and Anderson and served as the first ambassador for NATO.
