Declan Costello (1 August 1926 – 6 June 2011) was an Irish judge, barrister and Fine Gael politician who served as President of the High Court from 1995 to 1998, a Judge of the High Court from 1977 to 1998 and Attorney General of Ireland from 1973 to 1977.
Declan Costello is a specialist in voice disorders and hoarseness, with a background in music and medicine. He runs clinics in London, Maidenhead and Berkshire, and has won the Santley Award for services to singing and research.
Declan Costello is an Irish economist and Deputy Director-General of DG ECFIN since August 2019. He has worked in various positions in the European Institutions since 1991, mainly on economic and financial affairs, structural reforms and globalisation.
