Synopsis. Mrs. Elvira Wiggs has been rearing her children, Jimmy, Billy, Europena, Asia and Australia, alone for three years since her husband Hiram left for the Klondike. The family is destitute, living in the shantytown of Cabbage Patch, and faces a dismal Thanksgiving.
