"300" is a totally riveting masterpiece of movie making directed by Zack Snyder. The movie tells the story of King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans who defended their homes against the Persian army during the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. The plot of the movie is simple, direct, and inspiring. A phenomenal action packed story that sticks pretty close to the actual events. The sound design is very excellent.
