"Chungking Express" consists of two parts, connected only by a fast food joint where two of the characters eat. This includes the policeman 223, who has to deal with the separation from his girlfriend. He wants to wait for her for a month. When the time runs out without the woman calling, Cop 223 decides to start a new relationship. He meets a woman who has just failed to handle a drug deal with the help of some Indians.
