A Little Virtuous (French: La petite vertu) is a 1968 French comedy crime film directed by Serge Korber and starring Dany Carrel, Jacques Perrin and Robert Hossein. It is based on the 1951 novel But a Short Time to Live by British writer James Hadley Chase, originally published under his pen name Raymond Marshall.
Overview. In Paris, the young photographer Ferdinand falls in love with Claire, a pickpocket. Shortly after, he is assaulted because he took pictures of the young woman with another man, Brady, his sponsor. The policeman Lorenzi is put on the case, but in love, Ferdinand does not want to denounce her.
La petite vertu. Ferdinand, a young photographer, meets Claire, a supposed cover girl, in a cafe. Although he is instantly attracted towards her, Ferdinand soon learns that she is a professional thief, working for a thug named Brady.
