On her 75th birthday, lonely Emma (Joanna Kerns) makes a wish to be younger and then wakes up to find she's 35-years-old again, so she takes a job as the housekeeper for her grown daughter and young grandkids who don't recognize her.
Emma longs for a horse of her own so that she can fulfill her lifelong dream of learning to ride, but her parents are struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford to buy her one. As Emma's health deteriorates, she becomes more and more desperate to fulfill her wish.
