New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Yes, this is correct. Mátalo means kill it/him depending on the context. I believe it could be a command to dunk a basketball too, at least in Spain, although perhaps a native speaker will let me know if that's exactly how it'd be phrased.
